The BCCI – The Board of Control for Cricket in India , appointed Ms Amrita on the National selection panel for the senior Indian women’s team and under-19 women’s team .
Amrita has an extensive background in cricket and has served as a selector for India from 2011-12 to 2015-16. During her tenure, she also held the esteemed position of Chairman of the West Zone Selection Committee and the Maharashtra Cricket Association for senior women and age group women’s teams from 2011-12 to 2015-16.
